In the Sahih, it is narrated that the prophet said in Makkah about its plants:
"Do not cut its plant"
Al-'Abbas رضي الله عنه said, "Except for At-Ith-Khir, o messenger of Allah, for their( the people of Makkah) servants use it and it is also used for their used for their houses." The Prophet said: "Except Al-Ith-Khir".
Lemon Grass is hot in the second degree and dry in the first degree. It is a light substance that opens clogs and the veins' orifices. It is also increases urine and menstruation flow, dissolves the stones and the hard tumors in the stomach, liver and kidneys either as a drink or as a bandage. The stems of the Lemon Grass will strengthen the column of the teeth and the stomach, calm nausea and constipate the stomach.
